Accessing your profile for the first time (existing members):

When this new website was created your old password was not imported, so you will need to set a new password.

Go to Member Login under the Membership menu.

Click on “Forgot password” to the right of the “Login” button on the login page.

Enter the email address you used with your NCCEFT membership and click submit. If you are unsure of the email address, you might check the Therapist Directory, if you are in it, it will have your email. An email will be sent to you containing a link to setup your new password.

After setting up a new password, you can now login into your profile via the Member Login page.

The first time you login you will be asked, “I agree to terms of use for this website software,” click the check box if your agree.

You will be in your profile now.

See “Update Your Profile” instructions below.

New Membership:

Click HERE to go to the “New Member Application” page (located in the “Members” menu).

Select the desired membership level and click the “Next” button at the bottom right of the page.

Enter your email and the Code as displayed (this is for security reasons).

Click the “Next” button

Complete the Member Application. If you do not want information to show in the directory, leave the field blank. However, we do require your name, email, phone and mailing address. Your mailing address will not show and you have the option of excluding your email or phone from the directory, see “How to hide your email or phone number in your public Directory profile” at the bottom of the page.

Click “Yes” for “Show My Profile In Directory” if you want your profile to be displayed in the Therapist, Groups or Supervision Directories. If you don’t want to be shown, select “No”.

The Brief Statement (199 characters max) is what appears in the initial list of therapists. The Brief and the (longer) Statement (2950 characters max), appear in your profile.

Don’t forget to upload your picture; it makes a difference.

Click “Next” at the very bottom right of the page.

Review and confirm that the information is correct. Click the “Confirm and proceed with payment” button.  We are only able to accept online payment at this time.

  • To pay online, click the “Pay online” button to pay with your credit or debit card.

You will receive emails confirming this transaction.

Your new membership will be activated instantly.

Code of Conduct

All new and current members must adhere to NCCEFT Code of Conduct.   Please review the Code of Conduct here before submitting or renewing your membership application.  NCCEFT Code Of Conduct

Renew your membership:

Click HERE to login to your profile (the “Member Login” page located in the “Members” menu).

Click the “Renew until 20xx” button on the right side of the page.

If you like you can review your profile and make any additions or changes you would like. If you do not want information to show in the directory, leave the field blank.

Click on the “Update and next” button.

How to hide your email or phone number in your public Directory profile:

Click HERE to login to your profile (the “Member Login” page located in the “Members” menu).

Click “Edit profile”

Click “Privacy”

If you do not want to your email to show click “No access” for Email. Or if you only want to be contacted by email, you would click “No access” for Phone (normally if you do not want information to show in the directory, you would leave the field blank, but we require email and phone, so this gives you a way for you to hide it if you prefer).

Please leave the rest of the selections as they are.

Click “Save” at the very bottom left of the My Profile page.

Click “Logout” at the very bottom right of the My Profile page.

NCCEFT Members may participate in our listserv

Getting up and running on the listserv:

As you complete your membership application, be sure to select the option to indicate “yes” for “Add me to NCCEFT Google Group listserv”. You will then receive an email with instructions for joining.

(You may join the listserv at a later date by accessing your member profile and changing the setting to “yes”. Please also let the Membership Coordinator at ncceftinfo@gmail.com know that you have done so, and you will receive the listserv instructions email.)

Guidelines for listserv posting:

NCCEFT is working  to cultivate a safe space in our community around diversity, equity and inclusion.  We want all members to feel welcomed, heard and valued in our interactions and communication. We ask all members to read and accept these guidelines as part of a participating member of this community:

    • Speak from your own experience and welcome multiple viewpoints. 
    • Respect each other by taking responsibility for the impact of your words. 
    • Work to recognize your privileges in terms of race, class, gender, sexual orientation and ability. 
    • Attune to others by actively listening
    • Converse with care 

When considering appropriate posts to the NCCEFT listserv, please consider whether your post supports the NCCEFT mission and follows NCCEFT Bylaws. Appropriate posts promote the learning and practice of EFT through sharing about workshops, resources, EFT services, and supporting one another in the work through case discussions.  We ask all members to read and accept these guidelines of appropriate posts: 

    • Notice of upcoming EFT relevant groups or workshops
    • Referral requests
    • Organizing peer EFT consultation groups
    • Requests for EFT case advice (please be sure to eliminate any identifying information that could compromise client confidentiality)
    • Notice of office openings, sublets sought or offered
    • Sharing of EFT articles, information links and materials
    • Notice of Non-EFT-related groups or events that may be of interest to psychotherapy professionals may be posted on the NCCEFT list serve on Mondays only

Examples of posts not appropriate to the NCCEFT mission:

    • Political petitions
    • Solicitation of charitable donations (for non-NCCEFT causes)
    • Advertising services not reasonably related to EFT
    • Personal announcements or advertisements for events, products or services

FAQ: Problems with Event Registration and Membership

Occasionally problems arise in the course of using the “web forms” on NCCEFT’s website; to register for an event or renew a membership. Here are some solutions to the most common glitches. First, remember to always:

Use the navigation buttons within the web form:

Use the “next” button to proceed to the next step; if you need to leave the page without completing the process, be sure to use the “cancel” button at lower left. (Failure to use the “cancel” button may interfere with future attempts to register/renew.)

A useful first and second step if you’re having problems with web forms (any web forms, not just NCCEFT’s!) is to:

Restart your web browser:

(Remember that this will close ALL windows in your browser; make sure you’ve saved your work first.) And:

If these steps have not resolved the issue, you may find that one of the following three steps will:
